The exhibition dedicated to the genius of Antonio Ligabue

The exhibition dedicated to the genius of Antonio Ligabue, will be inaugurated on 22nd September at the Eremitani Museum in Padua. It is open until 17 February 2019.

On show there are more than seventy paintings, ten works on paper and seven sculptures; the exhibition will offer a historical and critical interpretation of the work of the Italian-Swiss artist, still today one of the most interesting personalities of 900 art.
The path of the exhibition develops the creative universe of Ligabue: the relationship with the self-portrait, the wild and domestic animals, the work of the fields.

He is defined as a dreamer who has never stopped traveling, armed only with the power of his imagination. For the first time, about forty original documents dedicated to the biographical story of Antonio Ligabue will be visible to the public.
